NEXT INTAKE

The challenge in scalability is either in cash creation, cash processing, or cash collection. Vision, strategy, and execution bind all these together.
Dr. Yogesh Pawar

Journey Objective

Envisage the future. Craft the business of your dreams!

  • Does your business motivate, challenge, and energize you every day?
  • Are you and your people are driven by a common goal?
  • Has your business accomplished the big change in the marketplace that it was set up for?

If you answered ‘no’ to any of the above, the Vision Mastery Journey is for you!

Many SMEs start out with an extraordinary vision – be it to grow into huge corporations, to improve products and services for customers, develop new technology for the industry, do their bit for the nation through import substitution, and so on.

However, in the struggle to survive, the entrepreneur loses sight of this strategic vision. Businesses are shaped as per market needs and profits take the center stage. A business does sustain, but its path becomes variable. Neither does it grow, nor does it achieve its potential for success.

The Vision Mastery Journey is crafted to help you and your team drive your business to achieve the purpose that gives meaning to its existence.

The Process

The Vision Mastery Journey starts by making you, the captain of the ship, go deep into the reason behind the existence of your business. It makes you rethink your business philosophy; re-establish the values that drive your business; envision the scale you want to achieve; and finally, equips you with the strategy and the tools to get there.

You will learn to

1. Clearly define the company vision, mission, and values

2. Create a big business goal that motivates and inspires you and your team

3. Freeze on strategies to scale up your business, and

4. Create an impartial mechanism to continually assess your progress.

Curriculum

1.   Analyzing your Business Progress so far – Do you ever think about why you set up your business in the first place? This basic question is dependent on the future of your business!

Using psychological tools, we dig into the entrepreneur’s mind to find the core reason behind setting up the business apart from of course, profits.

2. Defining your Organization’s Value System – What are the values or lifelong guiding principles based on which you run your organization? Are these values consistently followed by you and your team?

We help entrepreneurs derive sound values that will define their business and make them relevant to all stakeholders.

 3. The Basics of Scaling up a Business – Sure, you are running your business well, but have you achieved your true potential?

There’s a book by Dr. Marshall Goldsmith titled ‘What Got You Here Won’t Get You There’ and the phrase holds true for scaling-up. Scaling-up is quite different from the art of starting and sustaining a business and a lot of unlearning, new learning and relearning is required. Scaling-up is a mindset that an entrepreneur needs to develop.

4. Learning from the Masters – Feeling lost and confused on the challenging journey of business growth?

Take heart! The best way to learn is from master strategists and experienced entrepreneurs who have made it to the top. You will keenly study extensive case studies of Indian entrepreneurs who faced challenges similar to yours and analyze how they overcame them. This will help you design your own strategy for your company’s growth. SIL shall also give you a Strategic Toolkit that will help you create your strategy for your company.

 5. Build your Vision and Mission – So, where are you, your business and your team headed?

By now, you have clarity about your organization values, the fundamentals of scaling-up and about how companies achieve scale. Now, you will be able to build your Vision and Mission statements that will help you scale your business.

6. Build a robust action plan – Worried about putting your scaling-up plans into action?

Along with your mentors, you will build up an action plan for the next 1000 days to begin your company’s scaling-up process. This plan is clearly formed considering milestones and goals to be achieved weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly. You will also clearly identify the resources that you require and will have to build up for this purpose.

 7. PEARL in the heart of Entrepreneurs – Always wondering how to behave as an entrepreneur with your employees, partners, and vendors to get them aligned in one direction to seek the Multiplier Effect?

There are specific scale behaviors like proactiveness, recognition, engagement, and good listening, which entrepreneurs who are scaling-up must inculcate. These behaviors when combined with a vision and strategy, help entrepreneurs to scale-up and bring all components of the process into alignment.
